Volleyball Game Preview: The Covenant School Eagles vs. Steward Spartans + How To Watch

The Covenant School Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Steward Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Covenant School is coming into the match hot, having won their last 12 games.

The Covenant School will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Saint Gertrude, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Eagles blew past the Gators 3-0 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-13.

Steward not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 15th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against Walsingham Academy as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won eight in a row.

Steward was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-22.

The win got Steward back to even at 11-11. As for The Covenant School, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.

Everything went The Covenant School's way against Steward in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, as The Covenant School made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
