Point Pleasant managed to slip by Alexander the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Big Blacks lost 4-0 to the Spartans on Thursday. The loss leaves Point Pleasant still looking for their first win of the season.

Point Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Alexander, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Point Pleasant will challenge Herbert Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Alexander, they will take on Marietta at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Alexander their first taste of in-conference action this season.
