Football Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short

Brainerd was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 52-29 to the Monticello Magic.

Brainerd's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Monticello, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Brainerd will head out to square off against Alexandria at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for Monticello, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elk River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
