Softball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland lost against Caney Valley back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars came up short against the Trojans, falling 10-1.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Caney Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodland will head out to challenge Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Caney Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Barnsdall at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
