Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwestern). They blew past the Union City Bears 48-0 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bears: they've now won five in a row.

Braden Swift went supernova, rushing for 61 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 189 yards and a pair of TDs on only 12 passes. Those 61 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Joe Holdsworth got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Northwestern's run defense was locked in: Union City could only muster 2.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Gabe Adams for the heroic effort on defense: he. Northwestern didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.8.
