Bloomfield has gone a perfect 5-0 against Bernalillo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Bobcats will face off against the Spartans at 1:00 p.m. Bloomfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Bernalillo likes a good challenge.

Bloomfield's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They breezed past Grants to the tune of 51-0. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by 41 points or more this season.

Bloomfield's defense made their presence known, laying out Isaiah Ortega four times. Cole Gosnell was especially locked on to Grants' QB and sacked him twice.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Bernalillo had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past Manzano 31-28. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their seven-point performance the game before.

Bloomfield's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.3 points on average over those games. As for Bernalillo, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Everything came up roses for Bloomfield against Bernalillo in their previous matchup back in October, as the squad secured a 60-16 victory. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
