Baseball Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short

St. Andrew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles, falling 16-1. That's two games in a row now that the Lions have lost by exactly 15 runs.

St. Andrew's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as St. Andrew's Lions duke it out with Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be St. Andrew's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, they will challenge John Milledge Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
