Soccer Recap: Bishop Ready Comes Up Short

Bishop Ready lost against Westland back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Silver Knights fell 4-2 to the Cougars. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Bishop Ready couldn't quite close it out.

Yahir Herrera and Cross Williams scored both of Bishop Ready's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Bishop Ready has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7-1 record this season. As for Westland, their record now sits at 4-11-1.

Coming up, Bishop Ready will host Lakewood at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westland, they will take on Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
