Polytechnic won the last time they faced Westridge and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Polytechnic Panthers blew past the Westridge Tigers, posting a 58-17 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 25 points or more this season.

Polytechnic got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jessie Yip out in front who went 9 of 12 en route to 18 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Mira Mavis, who went 5 for 6 on her way to 10 points and seven boards.

Polytechnic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 15 consecutive matches.

Polytechnic pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Westridge, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Polytechnic will face off against Providence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Polytechnic is facing Providence at the right time seeing as Providence is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Westridge, they will square off against Flintridge Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
