Hermann hasn't had much luck against New Bloomfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bearcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Hermann is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.

Delilah Nobel made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly Scheer, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run.
Meanwhile, New Bloomfield came into Thursday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out Russellville 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since August 30th.
Rylee Ellsworth spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 15 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Myah Briggs, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in October of 2024. Taylor Allen was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.
New Bloomfield hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive contests.
New Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 4-8-1. As for Hermann, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
New Bloomfield's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hermann has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .477. It's a different story for New Bloomfield, though, as they've only averaged .311. Will they be able to contain Hermann's hitters?
