Soccer Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame's game on Tuesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 4-2 to the Menlo School Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Regents in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Camila Benitez wasn't going to let Menlo School walk away unscathed as she scored both of Notre Dame's goals, bringing her season total up to five goals.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for Menlo School, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Notre Dame will square off against Harker at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Menlo School, they will face off against Crystal Springs Uplands at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Crystal Springs Uplands' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
