Softball Recap: Timnath Comes Up Short

Timnath saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Dakota Ridge Eagles by a score of 9-8. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zoe Rummel made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Hailey Kejr, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Timnath's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Dakota Ridge, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Timnath will be taking part in a tournament against Rangeview at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dakota Ridge, they will take on Thompson Valley in a tournament on Friday.
