Huntley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2-3. As for Jacobs, their win bumped their record up to 5-12-3.

Jacobs might still be hurting after the 6-2 loss they got from Huntley when the teams last played back in September. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Golden Eagles were down 4-1.
