Football Recap: William Englert's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Great Bridge over Western Branch + How To Watch

If Great Bridge was feeling good fresh off their 62-20 takedown of Grassfield last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 35-28 to the Western Branch Bruins on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bruins: they've now lost five in a row.

Great Bridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was William Englert, who threw for 217 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in one score on the ground. 92 of Englert's passing yards were hauled in by Logan Dessart.

Great Bridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Western Branch, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
