The Great Bridge Wildcats football team (Chesapeake, VA), was tipped 35-28 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA)

With the win, Western Branch upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Bruins host Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Grizzlies in a Southeastern contest on Friday, October 24. The Grizzlies enter the contest with a record of 0-7. Grassfield lost 68-7 in their recent league contest against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)

Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern bout, on Friday, October 24. Great Bridge will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 28-21 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA).
