In Thursday's league outing, the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) football squad knocked off the host Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), by a margin of 61-38.

The Tigers now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Western Branch for a Southeastern outing on Friday, November 7. Oscar Smith will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 14-7 league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-3.

With the defeat, Great Bridge falls to 1-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southeastern game on Friday, November 7.
