The Indian River Braves football team (Chesapeake, VA), dropped 33-20 in Saturday's league bout with the host Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA)

With the win, Oscar Smith advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a Southeastern bout on Friday, September 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-0. King's Fork won 56-14 in their recent league bout against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA)

The Braves now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Grassfield for a Southeastern bout on Friday, September 26. Indian River will confront a Grizzlies squad coming off a 61-0 league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-3.
