Baseball Recap: Franklin County Lions vs. Hebron Christian Lions
Franklin County had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 20-8 to make it four. They came up short against Hebron Christian, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, Franklin County couldn't push the score so high this time.
As for Hebron Christian, their record now sits at 16-14. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.
For Hebron Christian's part, Dallas Rice was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Rice has become a key player for Hebron Christian: the team is 5-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 11-12 otherwise.
