Basketball Recap: California Piles Up the Points Against Livermore

California won the last time they faced Livermore and things went their way on Tuesday too. The California Grizzlies claimed a resounding 83-14 victory over the Livermore Cowboys. With the Grizzlies ahead 54-3 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead California to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sofie Addiego, who went 6 for 8 en route to 17 points. Another player making a difference was Trinity Chu, who posted ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Livermore saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sofia Mahmood put up nine points. That was a full 64.3% of Livermore's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
