Basketball Recap: Sierra Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Sierra was riding high fresh off their 58-20 takedown of Pitman on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Timberwolves lost 58-36 to the Gregori Jaguars on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Timberwolves of the 43-23 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Sierra lost, don't look at Isabellah Crabb. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emalina Latu, who posted four points and three steals.

Alanah Lopez had a dynamite game For Gregori., going 7-for-14 en route to 18 points. Audrey Pacheco was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to eight boards and five assists.

Sierra's record now sits at 1-1. As for Gregori, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Sierra wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 58-40 win against Livingston on the 2nd. As for Gregori, they have also already played their next matchup, a 47-46 victory against Patterson on the 2nd.
