Soccer Recap: Model Falls Short of Armuchee in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Model can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Armuchee Indians on Friday. Model were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior), but Armuchee's defense proved too tough.

With the defeat, Model broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-5. As for Armuchee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Model does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Armuchee, they will take on Thomasville on Tuesday. Thomasville will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Armuchee surely won't give up without a fight.
