Softball Recap: Ponca City Gets the Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Ponca City took on Cleveland on Saturday. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 17, 2024.

Ponca City now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cleveland, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Ponca City will face off against Deer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Cleveland, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 16-6 defeat against Tecumseh on the 18th.
