Mora has gone a perfect 10-0 against Penasco recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 1:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Mora picked up another tournament win on Friday. They walked away with a 47-39 victory over Thoreau.

Mora's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Camden Montoya, who shot 70% from the field en route to 14 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Krystopher Padilla, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Penasco, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Crownpoint by a score of 58-47 on Friday. The Panthers pushed the score to 51-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Mora better focus on containing Kaileb Atencio and Angelo Zamora as the pair were huge in Penasco's win. Atencio went 8-for-16 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists, while Zamora shot 60% from the field to rack up 20 points along with eight boards and three steals. The contest was Atencio's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Nehemiah Chavez was another key player, going 6-for-7 en route to 14 points.

Penasco was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They racked up six more assists than Crownpoint's also-impressive total of 11.

Mora's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Penasco, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Mora was able to grind out a solid victory over Penasco when the teams last played back in February, winning 43-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers/Rangerettes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
