Softball Recap: Tupelo Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Tupelo's offense. They came up short against the Byng Pirates on Monday, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Tupelo has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Byng, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-11.

Looking ahead, Tupelo will face off against Stonewall at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Byng does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
