Softball Recap: Sprayberry Starts Season with Win on the Road

Sprayberry had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Marietta Blue Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Yellow Jackets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shona Bowen was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Sage Dorsey was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three runs.

Looking ahead, Sprayberry will face off against Kell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Marietta, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Cobb at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
