Softball Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Comes Up Short

Kennesaw Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-4 to the Sequoyah Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 9-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2018.

Kennesaw Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Sequoyah, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Looking ahead, Kennesaw Mountain will take on Lithia Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sequoyah, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sprayberry at 5:30 p.m. on the 26th.
