West Mesa lost against Cibola on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs came up short against the Cougars, falling 5-0.

West Mesa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cibola, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

West Mesa wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 loss against Eldorado on the 9th. As for Cibola, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Del Norte on the 10th.
