Soccer Game Preview: Godinez Fundamental vs. Tustin

The Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies will face off against the Tustin Tillers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Godinez Fundamental is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Godinez Fundamental is headed into the match having not lost since December 14 and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Century could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw. The Grizzlies had to tread lightly for part of the game as Danalin Gonzalez and Macayla Hysaw were both handed yellow cards, which could explain the final result.

Joahanna Castellanos and Maria Diaz scored all three of Godinez Fundamental's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tustin, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They won by a goal and slipped past Westminster 4-3. Considering the Tillers' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win got Tustin back to even at 5-5-2. Godinez Fundamental's draw makes their record 7-2-3 this season.
