Stanberry and Albany are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2017, but not for long. The Bulldogs will square off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stanberry is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Stanberry had to suffer through a 78-50 loss at the hands of North Andrew.

Stanberry's loss came about despite a quality game from Max Hilton, who rushed for 92 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Albany faced Pattonsburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors fell 64-56 to the Panthers.

Albany now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Stanberry, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Stanberry has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 165.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Albany struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 258.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Stanberry was taken down by Albany 56-26 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
