Softball Recap: Deerfield-Windsor Takes a Loss

Deerfield-Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Terrell Academy Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Deerfield-Windsor saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Beth Brady, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Deerfield-Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Terrell Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Deerfield-Windsor will challenge rival Brookwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Terrell Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Tiftarea Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
