Mercer piles up the points against Commodore Perry

The Mercer Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They really took it to Commodore Perry for the full four quarters, racking up a 169-23 victory at home. That looming 169-23 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mercer yet this season.
The victory (which was Mercer's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.7 points per game. As for Commodore Perry, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Mercer will head out on the road to face off against Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Jamestown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 557th, while Mercer is ranked 232nd). As for Commodore Perry, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Farrell at 7:15 p.m.
