Softball Recap: Cedar Shoals Comes Up Short

Cedar Shoals fell victim to Flowery Branch and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in August.

Cedar Shoals has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Flowery Branch, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Shoals will host Madison County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flowery Branch, they will be playing at home against Collins Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
