Softball Recap: Checotah Falls Short of Mcloud in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Checotah can now relate to. They lost 9-1 to the McLoud Redskins on Wednesday.

Checotah has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for McLoud, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-8-1.

Checotah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-0 victory against Catoosa on the 1st. As for McLoud, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Broken Bow on the 1st.
