Soccer Game Preview: Washington vs. Holmen

The Washington Panthers will face off against the Holmen Vikings at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Washington is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.

Washington can't be too worried about heading out to take on Holmen: they just beat Arcadia at home, who had been dominant on their own pitch up to that point. The Panthers blew past the Raiders 4-1 on Friday. Washington might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Arcadia with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jackson Macgregor, Will Jaegle, Colin Earle, and Hudson Scrivner.

Meanwhile, Holmen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Tomah on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Holmen in their matchups with Tomah: they've now won four in a row.

Washington's record is now 20-1-1. As for Holmen, their record now sits at 10-6-1.
