Recap: Pine Hills Adventist Eagles vs. John Adams Academy Patriots
The Pine Hills Adventist Eagles lost against the John Adams Academy Patriots back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Pine Hills Adventist was beaten by John Adams Academy 70-12. Pine Hills Adventist has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
John Adams Academy found their leader in underclassman Elliott Schwartz, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 11 steals. That makes it 17 consecutive games in which Schwartz has scored at least 25% of John Adams Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Norah Barmby, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Pine Hills Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for John Adams Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine Hills Adventist will challenge John Adams Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. John Adams Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Elite at 6:00 p.m. on January 11th. Elite has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 2.
