The Pacifica Christian/Orange County Tritons will take on the San Bernardino Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Pacifica Christian/Orange County is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 6th on Saturday. They lost 61-39 to San Clemente. While losing is never fun, Pacifica Christian/Orange County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while San Clemente is ranked 70th).

Meanwhile, San Bernardino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Porterville 53-26.

Ilona Jacques was San Bernardino's leading scorer, having posted six points. Jer?Vonee Jackson held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Pacifica Christian/Orange County and nudges their season record down to 7-10. As for San Bernardino, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Pacifica Christian/Orange County didn't have too much breathing room in their game against San Bernardino in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 35-29 victory.
