Softball Recap: Pinewood Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Thomas Jefferson Academy on Friday, Pinewood Christian came back down to earth. The Patriots fell 7-3 to the Wayne County Yellow Jackets on Tuesday.

Pinewood Christian dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Wayne County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinewood Christian will take on Robert Toombs Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayne County, they will challenge Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
