Basketball Recap: Orange Lutheran's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

Orange Lutheran was the 60-51 winner over San Clemente when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Orange Lutheran Lancers took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Clemente Tritons on Tuesday.

Orange Lutheran's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-6. As for San Clemente, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Orange Lutheran and San Clemente should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Orange Lutheran (ranked 99th) will meet Brea Olinda (ranked 230th) at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, San Clemente will square off against Trabuco Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 152 places (61 vs. 213).
