Softball Recap: Shawnee Find Success

Shawnee won against McAlester on Monday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Wolves narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Prague Red Devils 5-4. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

Shawnee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karma M, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double. Another was Kass S, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Shawnee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season. As for Prague, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

Shawnee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-4 loss against Noble on the 2nd. As for Prague, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-7 win against Tishomingo on the 2nd.
