Volleyball Game Preview: Sunnyside Blue Devils vs. Tucson High Magnet School Badgers

Sunnyside is 0-7 against Tucson High Magnet School since March of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home court against the Badgers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sunnyside is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Rincon/University.

Meanwhile, Tucson High Magnet School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Marana, falling 3-0.

Sunnyside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Tucson High Magnet School, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Sunnyside couldn't quite get it done against Tucson High Magnet School when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
