Baseball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Pickens Dragons, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, with their most recent loss being a 17-0 defeat last Thursday.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Pickens, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Johnson is set to square off against their familiar foe North Hall at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pickens will take on rival Dawson County at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday.
