Baseball Recap: Chattahoochee County Takes a Loss

Chattahoochee County fell victim to St. Anne-Pacelli and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 10-0 to the Vikings. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

Chattahoochee County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Drury, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Chattahoochee County's loss dropped their record down to 0-23. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chattahoochee County will welcome Webster County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for St. Anne-Pacelli, they will be playing at home against First Presbyterian Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. First Presbyterian Day will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something St. Anne-Pacelli surely won't give up without a fight.
