Soccer Recap: Towers Comes Up Short

Towers lost against Lamar County on March 6th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Towers fell just short of Lamar County by a score of 3-2.

Towers' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lamar County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Towers will take on rival Jasper County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lamar County is set to challenge their familiar foe Social Circle at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
