Syracuse had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Falls City Tigers with a sharp 15-5 win on Saturday. The Rockets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Syracuse let Jade Campbell and Kamryn Manley run wild. Campbell got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Manley went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three stolen bases gave Manley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayson Sprague, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Syracuse kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Falls City only managed six hits.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-14. As for Falls City, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Syracuse has already played their next match, a 5-0 win against North Andrew on the 13th. As for Falls City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 11-8 victory against South Sioux City on the 13th.
