Softball Recap: Bedford Has No Trouble Against Essex

Bedford won the last time they faced Essex and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Trojans 12-2. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

Bedford is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Essex, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.
