Football Recap: Clear Spring Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Clear Spring fell victim to Mountain Ridge and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Miners and fell 42-0. The Blazers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Leading Mountain Ridge to victory were Kaiden Lissau and Carter Clites. Lissau rushed for 95 yards and two scores on only 11 carries, while Clites rushed for 49 yards and a pair of touchdowns. What's more, Clites racked up 117.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Clear Spring's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mountain Ridge, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Clear Spring has already played their next matchup, a 62-27 defeat against Albert Gallatin on the 3rd. As for Mountain Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 41-6 loss against Frankfort on the 3rd.
