Simeon won the last time they faced Morgan Park and things went their way on Monday too. The Wolverines sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 13-11 win over the Mustangs. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wolverines as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ameer Rule was excellent, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Aiden Pondexter, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Simeon's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Morgan Park, they moved to 12-12 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Simeon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
