The Mundy's Mill Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Miller Grove Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Mundy's Mill has given up an average of 13.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Mundy's Mill is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 16 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Rockdale County on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-1. The Tigers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Mundy's Mill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maliah Montano, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Montano is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
Meanwhile, Miller Grove entered their tilt with Tucker on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Tigers 29-6. Considering the Wolverines have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Armonie Morrison, who fired off two home runs, eight RBI, and four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of JaNiya Smith, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI.
Miller Grove was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .500 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Miller Grove's record now sits at 16-1. As for Mundy's Mill, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Mundy's Mill has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 10.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Miller Grove struggles in that department as they've been averaging 12.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Mundy's Mill suffered a grim 18-4 defeat to Miller Grove in their previous matchup back in August. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
