Softball Recap: Raytown Comes Up Short

Raytown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Grain Valley Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Bluejays were looking for revenge after losing 18-0 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Raytown's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Grain Valley, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raytown will take on Ruskin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grain Valley, they will challenge Fort Osage at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
