Softball Recap: Jones Triumphs

Jones proved they can win big on Monday (they won by nine) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Alva Goldbugs get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jones now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Alva, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-10.

Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alva, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 victory against Holdenville on the 2nd.
